Erum Waheed's TR65 Thunderbird
Dear Mark,
I have photos (attached) from inside Rosner’s showroom where the bike was kept until it’s restoration was complete.
Rosner’s like BCS had been co-op dealers and were able to ensure that the bike was built exactly to Meriden specification using refurbished and NOS parts where parts were missing or too deteriorated to refit.
I am very pleased with the result. I had seen one new (old stock) at Streamline Motorcycles in 1988/9 but felt unable to buy it because I was saving for my future professional studies.
The rescue and restoration of this motorcycle which had been broken a while back for selling as spares was a fiftieth birthday present to myself which took a little over a year to complete. I’m grateful for the help that BCS gave in their support, advice and of course, parts in completing this project successfully!
Kindest regards
Erum
