1949 BSA Bantam

Sold 08/21/2020

Poor health is forcing me to sell some more of my collection. Next is one of my favorites that I've owned for quite some time. 1949 BSA Bantam D1 rigid 125cc. Well documented as an early '49 model.

It has Wipac electrics, flat silencer, exhaust under the footrest, shovel mudguard and lack of rooster on tank. It's a real untouched time capsule. I've shown it twice. Best in Class at vintage bike show and Best of Show at a British Bike show. Original paint. 5793 miles.

Previous owner added the leather bib to cover the faded paint on the top of the tank. Inside the tank is clean and it has the original gas cap with measuring cup built in. Original style bulb horn that toots through the triple tree. Pictures show a U.S. Army bag attached. This bike was never an Army bike but I just like the look.

Starts, runs and rides as it should, although I have not ridden it since 2017.
Clear title. $3500 USD
