Crankcase Vent Filter For 74on Triumph TR7 And T140, K&N

This filter is for use on the crankcase breather vent when the original system is modified on these bikes. Pre 1979 models had a D shaped silver hose that was attached to the rear mudguard and vented at the very rear of the bike. All T140E models, and 1979on TR7 models had the breather hose routed into the stock airfilter assembly so another method of filtering the crankcase vapours must be found when removing it. Leaving the hole open to the atmosphere is not a good idea, since oily vapour can escape and dirt can be ingested. This item pushes directly onto the original plastic breather hose elbow at the rear of the primary case, and does an excellent job of filtration while looking good at the same time.
